Students engage the professional curriculum via a team-based learning approach to help you more effectively learn the required material. Since our goal is to produce innovative, compassionate health care professionals, you will be regualrly challenged by your professors and through your extensive practice experiences to integrate contemporary practices and pursue innovative solutions in an effort to improve patient care. If you are interested in cross-cultural service you will find abundant opportunities to volunteer or integrate this interest into one of your actual practice experiences.
You will study in our 3-story Health Sciences Center. (Opened summer of 2012). Featuring the latest in health care education technology, this facility, shared by our undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, will also enable you to develop valuable skills in inter-professional collaboration as you learn how to work in a team with other health professionals. Because of the excellent research tools located in the Center, as well as the interests of our professors, you will be able to develop your own research expertise, whether it is in practice or science.
We welcome applications from high school students and collegiate transfers for our preferred admission track. We also welcome applications from students who have completed 72+ college semester hours completing their prerequisites with strong acdemic credentials and a testimony of faith in Jesus Christ to our professional program track. We desire students who possess a vision to use pharmacy as a tool to make an impact in lives and communities.
