Campbell University
Campbell University was founded as Buies Creek Academy on January 5, 1887 and began addressing health care issues in 1985 with the establishment of the nationally acclaimed School of Pharmacy. We were the first new pharmacy program founded in the United States in more than 35 years. In 2009, the School of Pharmacy’s name was formally changed to the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences to provide additional health science programs, including the Master of Physician Assistant Practice and Master of Science in Public Health.
Campbell University is an interprofessional, service-oriented, private, Christian institution offering hands-on, student-centered education and patient-centered training for: Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Physician Assistant Practice, Master of Athletic Training, MS in Public Health, MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, MS in Clinical Research Online, BS in Clinical Research, BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences BS in Nursing as well as outstanding Pre-Pharmacy and Pre-Med programs. Pre-Pharmacy
Pre-Pharmacy is one of Campbell University’s largest undergraduate programs. It is a unique, two-year, non-degree program specially designed to prepare undergraduate students for entry into the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences’ (CPHS) highly regarded and competitive Doctor of Pharmacy program. The curriculum also prepares students to enter the bachelor’s program in pharmaceutical sciences, clinical research, or other specific disciplines.

The Doctor of Pharmacy degree is the College’s largest program, with more than 25 years of credible training history. Dean’s Scholarship
This $10,000 scholarship is awarded to all eligible students for their P1 year based upon overall PharmCAS GPA of 3.5 or higher. This scholarship is available for renewal during the P2 year by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher in the P1 year and completing the required leadership activities, community service, and professional involvement.
Admissions Requirements
Applicants must complete a minimum of 64 prerequisite credit hours prior to enrollment into the PharmD program. CPHS utilizes a holistic admissions process considering experience, education, academic ability, leadership and community service. Residency Opportunities
CPHS offers a variety of residency programs. Residents at CPHS are afforded the opportunity to enhance their clinical, research, teaching and critical thinking skills to meet the demands and changes occurring in the profession of pharmacy.
