DETAILED INFORMATION

The College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona currently admits classes of 100-140 student pharmacists each fall semester in Tucson and Phoenix. Students are eligible to apply if they meet all admission requirements. Admitted students pursue a four-year doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) degree. The course of study is also called the pharmacy professional program.
This year the College will offer Early Decision through PharmCas. The PharmCas application will open 7/18/18. The Early Decision deadline is 9/4/18. Qualified applicants will be interviewed in September and October with decisions by 10/19/18 for Early Decision. Rolling admissions will continue with interviews November through February. Admissions decisions will be announced soon after each interview day. The Application deadline for all other candidates is 12/3/18.
The College now offers an International Pathway to the PharmD program for students who have received a BS in Pharmacy from another country. Please refer to this page from our website on the details of this program:

During the past five years, on average 95 percent or more of the students who entered the UA College of Pharmacy graduated. The passing rates for new UA graduates who are first-time candidates for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam (NAPLEX) has almost always exceeded the state and national passing rate averages.
The College is currently ranked 16th in the nation by US News and World Reports.
