DETAILED INFORMATION

The pharmacy curriculum at the University of Wyoming begins with a two-year preprofessional program followed by the 4-year professional program. The professional program consists of three years of coursework and one year on rotations. The UW School of Pharmacy admits approximately 52 students every fall. Students in the School of Pharmacy have their own special activities and share in the congenial college community. Students may enter the professional program only upon official acceptance by the School of Pharmacy. http://www.uwyo.edu/pharmacy
The Doctor of Pharmacy/MBA will take five years to complete – four years of Pharmacy studies and one year of MBA core courses. Students spend their first year (Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters) in the MBA program taking core courses and completing a summer experiential project (30 credits). The next four years will encompass the traditional Pharm. D. curriculum, including the MBA Capstone course in Year 2. Students completing this program will earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Master of Business Administration degree http://www.uwyo.edu/mba/degree-programs/doctor-pharmacy-dual-degree.html.
