DETAILED INFORMATION

The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy, in conjunction with the Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center, offers a 12 month PGY2 pediatric residency training program emphasizing pediatric pharmacotherapy. The resident will gain experience in all aspects of pediatrics through participation as an active team member in core rotations that include general pediatrics, Medical PICU, CV PICU, NICU, hematology/oncology, nephrology, and research. Elective opportunities include solid organ transplant (kidney/liver), stem cell transplant, ambulatory care, toxicology, and other electives depending on their interest. A longitudinal clinic in is also a required component. Other requirements include didactic/practicum teaching in combination with a Foundational/Advanced Teaching Certificate and a required research project.
