DETAILED INFORMATION

The Infectious Diseases (ID) Specialty Residency is designed to prepare pharmacy residents to excel in the provision of care to patients with infectious diseases in a variety of practice settings. Rotations include the Adult ID Consult Service, ID/HIV clinic, Microbiology Laboratory and Antimicrobial Stewardship. Elective rotations include ID Immunocompromised Host Consult Service, Pediatric ID, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Organ Transplantation, MICU. The resident will receive a faculty appointment at the UNC School of Pharmacy.
