DETAILED INFORMATION

The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and University of Maryland Medical Center provides a one-year ASHP accredited residency-training program in pediatric pharmacy practice. This residency combines patient care and clinical services, education and teaching, and research components to develop a resident’s expert skills and competencies necessary to obtain an academic or clinical role in pediatric pharmacy practice. Residents are appointed as Clinical Instructors at the School of Pharmacy. The resident’s primary practice site will be The University of Maryland Children’s Hospital. Their integrated, multidisciplinary approach to care combines specialized expertise, leading-edge clinical research, and extensive support services for patients and their families.
