DETAILED INFORMATION

The UCSF PGY2 specialized residency program in pediatrics is designed to prepare pediatric clinical pharmacy specialists for practice in acute and ambulatory pediatric settings.
Available clinical rotations include General Pediatrics, Kidney and Liver Transplant, Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), Cardiac Intensive Care (CICU), Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), Hematology/Oncology, Stem Cell Transplant, Emergency Medicine, and Pediatric Infectious Disease. The resident will participate in a longitudinal ambulatory clinic experience, and administrative rotation throughout the year.
The resident will be expected to complete a clinical research project and present at a professional meeting. Staffing component every 3rd weekend in the main pharmacy. The resident will earn a teaching certificate.
