DETAILED INFORMATION

This is a two-year program comprised of a one-year PGY2 Ambulatory Care residency that focuses on primary care in the patient centered medical home and specialty care in nephrology, and it will be followed by a one-year Practice-Based Research Fellowship. The PGY2 residency offers rotations in a diverse range of ambulatory settings including opportunities in anticoagulation, chronic kidney disease, oncology, psychiatry, solid organ transplant, and transitions of care. The Fellowship training includes human subjects research training and didactic methodology instruction as well as experiential research training. Research activities will be significantly expanded during the fellowship year. Mentorship will be provided by a faculty member with extensive experience in practice-based research.
