DETAILED INFORMATION

The one-year, post graduate PGY2 residency in solid organ transplant is designed to develop a competent clinician and educator of transplant pharmacotherapy. Example activities include participation on the adult/pediatric abdominal transplant surgery service, lung transplant service, and heart failure/heart transplant service, transplant infectious diseases consult service, surgical ICU, cardiothoracic ICU, and outpatient transplant clinics. Experiences in manuscript preparation and didactic teaching are offered. The resident also has the opportunity to participate in teaching certificate program and research education series. The resident will also be responsible for the design, performance, and analysis of one research project.
