DETAILED INFORMATION

This PGY2 program will provide specialized training necessary to develop knowledge and professional skills essential to serve as a pharmacotherapy specialist in the area of solid organ transplant. Core rotations include: inpatient abdominal transplant (kidney, liver, and pancreas), inpatient thoracic transplant (heart, lung, and mechanical cardiopulmonary systems), transplant ambulatory clinic, and transplant infectious disease. Three to four months of electives in specialty areas are also available. While the program focuses on enhancing clinical skills, residents will also develop skills in the areas of precepting Pharm.D. students, didactic teaching, and research.
