This PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency is a comprehensive training program conducted in a large academic healthcare system. Residents will acquire new and more in depth knowledge of Ambulatory Care. The focus will be in providing various ambulatory care services. Longitudinal rotations include the anticoagulation, geriatrics, and pharmacotherapy clinics. All residents complete an academic rotation and additional elective experiences. Residents may select from >20 ambulatory care experiences. The resident’s will also complete a major research project and have service commitment in the ambulatory and specialty pharmacies. A teaching and learning curriculum is available. Residents completing the program will be prepared to pursue Ambulatory Care Clinical Specialist positions and a clinical track faculty appointment.
