DETAILED INFORMATION

The resident will provide direct patient care in a dynamic and innovative family medicine residency training clinic, including collaborative management, and medication use in transitions. The resident will have longitudinal elective experiences in a large variety of ambulatory clinics. The resident will provide education to medicine residents, pharmacy students and other health care learners in lectures, small group teaching and clinical rotations.
Upon completion of the residency, the resident will be prepared for academic positions, as well as nonacademic ambulatory care positions in private group practices and health maintenance organizations.
The residency is supported in association with the Department of Family Medicine, College of Pharmacy and University of Utah HealthCare.
