The vision for the MCW School of Pharmacy is to prepare the next generation of pharmacists to meet the growing healthcare needs of society. MCW’s doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) graduates will have the knowledge and expertise to practice at the “top of their license” and contribute to patient-centered care within a team-based model ensuring optimal patient outcomes in concert with other healthcare professionals. The MCW School of Pharmacy is a three-year, year round doctoral program offered at the MCW Milwaukee campus located at the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center which includes access to Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee VA, cancer center, eye institute, Wisconsin Blood Center, and mental health facilities.
The MCW School of Pharmacy has applied to the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) for candidate accreditation in April of 2018.
