By organizing courses into series, the KGI PharmD curriculum ensures a clear and defined focus on the diverse set of skills needed for the evolving range of opportunities in Pharmacy. In addition, students take courses that provide them with foundational content, exposure to emerging topics, as well as elective courses and rotations within the PharmD Certificate Programs. Further information on the four-year plan can be found at: http://www.kgi.edu/pharmacy/academics/four-year-plan.
Faculty
Keck Graduate Institute brings together faculty with expertise in bioengineering, computational biology, applied molecular and cellular biology and bioscience business. Facilitated by KGI’s unique organizational structure and small, intimate community, faculty are able to engage in interdisciplinary, collaborative research projects and novel teaching approaches much more effectively than would be possible in a larger, more traditionally structured institution.

Student Life
Students have the opportunity to develop their talents and interests in a variety of ways, both inside and outside of the classroom. Mentorship from faculty and participation in social events, student clubs and activities are a part of daily life at KGI.
KGI has developed a program to allow students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to practice in current and future areas of practice. Our goal is to expose students to the career possibilities so that they can discover their passion and provide them with the tools to navigate through the various stages of their career.

On-Campus Housing
KGI’s very first on-campus housing facility, Oasis KGI Commons, will open in Fall 2018. More information, including floor plans and pricing, can be found at http://www.kgi.edu/oasis.
Our Location
Located in beautiful Southern California, KGI is only 35 miles east of Los Angeles in the city of Claremont. With 140 acres of parks and tree-lined streets, Claremont provides a rich cultural and architectural heritage that much resembles a small town. The greater Los Angeles area is complex, fascinating and dynamic. KGI students have full access to the recreation, cultural richness, and beauty of the area.
As a member of The Claremont Colleges (http://www.claremont.edu), KGI students are able to share a wide range of central facilities and services with students from any of the other campuses. The Claremont Colleges (TCC) are a consortium of seven independent, private institutions, five at the undergraduate level and two at the graduate level. The Claremont Colleges operate many central services and programs for the benefit of all seven academic members. These include, and are not limited to; the joint library system, the Huntley Bookstore, student services such as the health and counseling centers, Office of Black Students Affairs, the Chicano/Latino Student Affairs Center, Student Disability Resource Center, Queer Resource Center, and more.
