The PGY2 pharmacy residency in ambulatory care at Tufts Medical Center is designed to produce a specialized practitioner with an advanced degree of proficiency and expertise working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver pharmaceutical care to diverse outpatient populations with varied and complex health problems. The intense focus on direct patient care develops a specialist of great flexibility who can move from one area of practice to another with confidence. PGY2 residents will gain experience in transitional care, primary care and Specialty Pharmacy. Residents will also practice alongside experienced preceptors in several of the following clinics: Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Hematology / Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Pediatric Specialties, Rheumatology, Solid Organ Transplant.
