DETAILED INFORMATION

The PGY2 residency in ambulatory care pharmacy is designed to transition PGY1 residency graduates from general pharmacy practice to specialized practice focused on the needs of ambulatory patients. Other experiences for resident development include the opportunity to deliver programs that contribute to public health, provide high quality education and training for pharmacy students, PGY-1 pharmacy residents, other pharmacy colleagues as well as healthcare colleagues of varying disciplines, and attendance and/or presentations at professional meetings. Upon completion, candidates should be well-positioned to obtain an ambulatory care position and/or clinical faculty appointment with a college of pharmacy as well as attain board certification. Please check the Lahey website, http://www.lahey.org/PharmacyResidency for further information.
