DETAILED INFORMATION

Our residency mission is to train world-class clinical pharmacy specialists and leaders in ambulatory care pharmacy practice. The breadth of elective ambulatory care learning experiences available at KPCO is unique to this integrated care delivery system. Residents may select a specialty ambulatory care track in the following areas: cardiology, neuropsychiatry, palliative care, population management, and leadership development. Research training is provided by a team of clinical research scholars to ensure completion of a publishable project, and opportunity to earn a Research Training Certificate. The resident joins a nationally recognized team of over 100 Board Certified pharmacists. The PGY2 Ambulatory Care residency received the 2014 ASHP Foundation Pharmacy Residency Excellence Program award.
