The ambulatory care resident is expected to participate in patient care, develop expertise in primary and specialty care serving a variety of patients. The resident will gain clinical expereince in a geriatric primary care patient centered medical home, cardiology, anticoagulation, diabetes, transitions of care and acedemia. Elective opportunities include cystic fibrosis, managed care, and other developing services. The resident will be responsible for the completion of at least one research project of publishable quality. There are several opportunities for both didactic and experiential teaching of Wayne State University Pharm.D. students. Benefits include: Medical and dental, computer resources, and travel funds.
