DETAILED INFORMATION

The resident will have the opportunity to practice in a HRSA funded clinic for underserved patients and a private practice physician group.

The Clinic at Mercury Courts is an interprofessional collaboration between Urban Housing Solutions, Vanderbilt University School of Nursing (VUSN), and Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The nature of the interprofessional collaborative practice involves a physician, family nurse practitioner, pharmacist, and professional counselor. The pharmacist role involves chronic disease management, health promotion and preventive activities for patients,and clinical preceptor for students from six different health professional programs.

The resident will have an opportunity to earn a teaching certificate and effectively teach in several didactic courses.
