DETAILED INFORMATION

The purpose of this Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency Program is to provide an educational environment to develop competencies necessary to provide pharmaceutical care to patients with infectious diseases by providing patient care, teaching, and clinical research in the area of infectious diseases pharmacotherapy. The resident will be an integral part of a variety of infectious diseases consult teams at Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition, the resident will have an active role on the antimicrobial subcommittee, participate in the antimicrobial stewardship program, and facilitate the experiential and didactic education of pharmacy students.
