Saint Francis Hospital, the largest hospital in Oklahoma, is part of Saint Francis Health System. The system is licensed for over 1,000 beds including 200 critical care beds. The infectious diseases pharmacy resident has the opportunity to provide care for patients with infectious diseases in the following areas: antimicrobial stewardship, HIV, solid organ transplantation, bone marrow transplantation/oncology, trauma critical care, medical critical care, emergency department, adult consult service, pediatric consult service, general pediatrics, and neonatal intensive care. Longitudinal experiences including research and ambulatory HIV clinic are required components of the residency. The resident will also have ample opportunities to teach and precept pharmacy students.
