DETAILED INFORMATION

This program seeks to equip the PGY-2 resident with an advanced level of clinical expertise in the pharmacotherapeutic management of kidney, liver and pancreas transplant recipients, and of live donors.
The program is designed to prepare the resident for a clinical practice and/or academic position specializing in organ transplantation. The resident is an integral member of multi-disciplinary teams managing patients across the continuum of care, including pre-transplant, peri-operative, and post-transplant follow-up. The resident will gain experience in inpatient and ambulatory settings, and will participate in clinical research, clinical education, teaching/mentoring pharmacy students and PGY-1 residents. The resident will complete one publication-worthy project.
