DETAILED INFORMATION

The goal of the residency is to develop clinicians who are able to function as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team and use evidence-based medicine to optimize medication use in the kidney, liver, heart, and lung transplant populations. Valuable leadership and research skills are developed through participation in a transplant-related interdisciplinary committee and completion of a clinical research project. The resident is encouraged to take advantage of the many professional writing, teaching, and precepting opportunities available during the course of the year. These activities provide a solid foundation in transplant pharmacotherapy while enabling the resident to pursue individual interests.
