DETAILED INFORMATION

The PGY1 Residency is a 1 year curriculum that offers opportunities structured to meet the needs and career aspirations of the resident. Residents are required to complete rotations in core areas essential to pharmacy practice including Ambulatory (Oncology-Solid Tumor or Bone Marrow Transplant, Anticoagulation, Medicine, or Transitions of Care), Critical Care (Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, or Neuro), Internal Medicine, Pediatrics (NICU, PICU, Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship/CF), and Practice Management. Electives include those listed in core areas, as well as Academia, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Bone Marrow Transplant, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Heart Failure, Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine, Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy, Oncology, and Trauma. Residents may also participate in the Teaching Certificate Program.
