DETAILED INFORMATION

The PGY1 residency provides an integrated experience in acute care, ambulatory care, drug information, and practice management. Core experiences include ambulatory care, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, ICU (SICU/MICU/CCU), internal medicine/cardiology, mental health, and anticoagulation. Other experiences include hepatitis C, cardiology, geriatrics and anticoagulation. Teaching opportunities and teaching certificate are available and are in affiliation with Duquesne University. Each resident must complete a residency project and ACPE accredited seminar presentation as part of the requirements for completion of the program. Benefits: Health and life insurance.
