DETAILED INFORMATION

Residents completing the 24 month PGY1/PGY2 Pharmacotherapy residency program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will be competent, autonomous, and confident clinical pharmacists ready to become clinical pharmacy specialists in acute care, ambulatory care, or critical care environments at an academic medical center, community hospital, or clinical faculty at a college or university. The program prepares residents to conduct outcomes related research, educate healthcare professionals through preceptorship and didactic education, and sit for board certification (BPS). The program develops practitioners with the knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive pharmacotherapy services to pediatric to geriatric patients in the critical care, acute care, and ambulatory care environments.
