DETAILED INFORMATION

This 24-month integrated PGY1/2 residency program is designed to develop a broad range of practice skills in the acute, subacute, ambulatory, and long-term care practice environments. The program includes core rotations and longitudinal experiences that are chosen to establish a strong base in pharmacotherapy. Residents choose electives based on their developing career goals. The program prepares residents for board certification in pharmacotherapy and fosters the development of independent, versatile practitioners. The program is also designed to produce well-rounded professionals through innovative experiences in teaching, clinical research, and professional activities. The resident will be required to have heavy involvement in teaching including didactic lectures, small group problem-based cases, and precepting.
