Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences offers a one-year PGY2 Critical Care Residency in conjunction with Cooper University Hospital. Cooper University Hospital is a 635-bed, non-profit, academic medical center in Camden, NJ. Trainees will be prepared to be critical care pharmacy specialists and academicians. The resident will participate in didactic and experiential education of Doctor of Pharmacy students while completing a teaching certificate program. Certification opportunities include: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS); BLS instructor. Core rotations include: medical/surgical ICU, trauma ICU, cardiac ICU, nutrition support, and critical care scholarship and education.
