The University of Minnesota Medical Center and Masonic Children’s Hospital provides a broad spectrum of critical care, including adult medicine, surgical, and cardiovascular ICU services to PICU and NICU. The resident is an integral part of the health care team. The resident will provide pharmaceutical care in an integrated, team-based pharmacy model. Skills include order verification, PK/TPN monitoring, provision of drug information, literature searches/review, participation in rounds, co-precepting APPE students/PGY1 residents, provision of professional education, and project management.
