DETAILED INFORMATION

This is a post-Pharm.D. graduate program opportunity in the Microbiology, Immunology, and Biochemistry track within the IBS Ph.D. program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center within the laboratory of David Rogers. The successful applicant would work on one of several NIH R01 funded research projects on antifungal resistance and gain technical experience in molecular biology, fungal genetics and genomics, and microbiology. Students in this program also gain experience in grant writing and in communicating their findings in publications and at scientific conferences. The Rogers lab is part of the UT Fungal Pathogens Group housed within the UT College of Pharmacy and offers a robust and energetic environment within which to train. Opportunities to remain engaged in pharmacy practice exist and are encouraged.
