The goal of the UF College of Pharmacy graduate program (Ph.D.) in Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences is to prepare motivated individuals to pursue independent research careers. The research focus of the program is on understanding genetic and non-genetic factors that contribute to variability in drug response. Selected areas of research include pharmacogenomics, precision medicine, infectious disease, oncology, psychiatry, and clinical pharmacology/drug metabolism. Students conduct hypothesis-driven clinical translational research that includes a strong laboratory component. Excellent research facilities available include modern bioanalytical and pharmacogenomics laboratories in the Center for Pharmacogenomics and the UF Clinical Translational Sciences Institute. Applications should be received by December 1.
