Located in downtown New Orleans, which boasts the development of a very progressive health services district (LSU—Tulane—VA). The district contains a cutting-edge bio-innovation complex. This JCAHO-accredited hospital contains a level 1 trauma center. Rotation offerings include: inpatient care, critical care, internal medicine, HIV/AIDS, anticoagulation, hematology/oncology, ambulatory care, antibiotic stewardship, trauma, practice management, and healthcare research. The resident will gain knowledge in teaching and speaking throughout the year-long program. The pharmacy is a main site for the teaching of pharmacy students from several Universities. Project opportunities in many areas are available. The program offers paid travel to conferences, paid time off, and health benefits.
