This comprehensive, practice-based program focuses on the pharmaceutical care of adult and pediatric patients. Residents are required to rotate through core experiences in ambulatory care, cancer, critical care, medicine/surgery, operations, and pediatrics. Residents actively participate in direct patient care, teaching activities, hospital committees and other management experiences, and are required to complete a residency project. The program concentrates on resident development throughout the year. Residents completing this program are prepared to enter directly into health system pharmacy practice or pursue PGY2 pharmacy residency positions.
Tufts Medical Center is the primary teaching site for Tufts University School of Medicine.
