DETAILED INFORMATION

Providence St Mary Medical Center (web address) is a small rural hospital that serves southeast Washington and northeast Oregon. Our PGY1 residency is a one-year clinical and administrative program designed to meet the three main requirements outlined by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, including acute patient care, practice foundation skills, and practice management. Currently, we have four (4) PGY1 positions available.
As a pharmacy resident, you will benefit from our unique training program that takes advantage of the wide variety of rotations and learning experiences within both acute and ambulatory care settings, and an affiliation with Washington State University College of Pharmacy offering you academic opportunities, a teaching certificate or both.
