DETAILED INFORMATION

Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center (MHSVMC) is the critical care regional referral and teaching center within the Mercy system, a seven hospital faith-based system serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. This is a collaborative residency between MHSVMC and the University of Findlay as an adjunct faculty member. The resident will develop the skills for specialized practice and leadership in the management of critically ill patients. Critical care areas include burn, surgical, neurological, trauma, medical, cardiac, pediatric and neonatal units, as well as emergency medicine and infectious disease consult service. Academic experience includes classroom and case-based teaching at UF and precepting students. Along with these opportunities, residents will complete a research project and present at various professional meetings.
