The Kaiser Permanente San Mateo Area residency program is a one-year postgraduate training program that allows the resident to gain clinical experience and confidence in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care in any practice setting.
The resident will participate in core rotations as well as elective rotations based on the resident’s interest. The resident will also have an opportunity to develop teaching skills by precepting students in APPE rotations.
The resident is required to participate in the annual California Society of Health-System Pharmacists Seminar and in the Western States Conference, where the resident will present a formal research project. The resident is further encouraged to participate and network at local, state and/or national professional organizations.
