DETAILED INFORMATION

The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is a 12 month, ASHP Accredited program designed to foster the development of both clinical and operational skills in pediatric pharmacy. Residents in PGY1 residency programs have the opportunity to accelerate their growth beyond entry-level professional competence in patient-centered care and in pharmacy operational services. The residency year provides a fertile environment for developing leadership skills and professional excellence through supervised practice under the guidance of model practitioners. Upon completion of the PGY-1 program, residents will be trained pharmaceutical care providers able to work in many clinical positions or seek advanced training in a PGY-2 specialized residency.
