DETAILED INFORMATION

The DMC offers a multi-site Pharmacy Residency (PGY-1) at Children’s Hospital of Michigan (n=2), Detroit Receiving Hospital (n=3), Harper University Hospital (n=4), and Sinai-Grace Hospital (n=2). One of the benefits of a multi-site residency is each unique hospital where the resident will choose as their primary PGY-1 site, yet an opportunity to take learning experiences at other hospitals in the system.

The DMC is committed to providing the highest quality postgraduate training in progressive hospital pharmacy practice. The program is designed to meet the resident’s individual needs and assist them in attaining their personal and professional goals, while preparing for PGY2 residency training. The one-year ASHP accredited program emphasizes all aspects of clinical and pharmacological management in adult and pediatric patients.
