This program offers great flexibility which allows the residency to be tailored to the specific needs of the individual. Required areas of training include internal medicine, critical care, practice management, anticoagulation clinic, drug information, cardiology, and infectious diseases. Elective learning experiences, based on the resident’s personal goals, can include oncology, bone marrow transplantation, solid organ transplantation, medical/cardiovascular/surgical/trauma ICU, neonatal ICU, emergency department, and investigational drug services. Teaching certificate is a required activity within program (Affiliation through University of North Texas). Application due: January 3, 2019.
