DETAILED INFORMATION

The pharmacy residency is designed to produce clinical pharmacists who are competent to practice clinically in an ambulatory care practice settings with expertise in caring for indigent patients. An additional focus of the residency is academia with experiences in teaching, scholarly productivity, and faculty governance.

This is a 2-year part-time residency. While professional development funding is available, the program does not offer a stipend or benefits. Instead, we work with the resident to create a schedule which will allow them to pursue outside part-time employment at pharmacist wage levels.

We have secured candidate status accreditation with ASHP. We will not be recruiting a new resident until July 2019.
