DETAILED INFORMATION

The Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program affiliated with Walgreens and Western New England University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is designed to provide the resident with a structured education and training experience. The mission of our residency is to provide postgraduate training that enables residents to build on their professional skills, achieve their professional goals, and become a leader within the profession. The resident will develop expertise in medication therapy management (MTM), chronic disease state management, as well as initiate, implement and maintain collaborative working relationships within the community. Other activities include providing patient care longitudinally in a clinic setting, precepting IPPE and APPE students, and teaching at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
