DETAILED INFORMATION

This 12-month PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with Emphasis in Community Care provides directed development of knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to provide care in a community setting. The resident will rotate in pediatric and adult ambulatory care clinics. In addition, the resident will complete a research project with publishable manuscript, teach in the pediatric elective course at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, prepare and present drug monographs, lead journal club, and provide quarterly presentations. A teaching certificate is also available. The resident will staff in the Outpatient Pharmacy every other weekend. A Pharm.D. degree or equivalent experience is required. Candidates must submit a letter of intent, CV, college transcript(s), and three letters of recommendation via Phorcas by January 3.
