DETAILED INFORMATION

CoxHealth is the region’s only locally owned, not-for-profit health system, serving a population of 900,000 in a 25-county service area. It is comprised of 954 licensed beds in 6 facilities located in SW Missouri, and the main campus at Cox South Medical Center is a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center. Required rotations include: internal medicine, family medicine, critical care, ambulatory care, metabolic support, research, distributions/operations, community cardiac rehab education, and administration. Electives include: psychiatric pharmacy, infectious disease, informatics, oncology, pediatrics/neonatal ICU, transitions of care, emergency medicine, and academia. Residents will present their research projects at the ASHP Clinical Midyear and Midwest Pharmacy Residents Conference. An optional teaching certificate program is available.
