DETAILED INFORMATION

Residents practice at both Aurora St. Luke’s and Aurora Sinai Outpatient Pharmacies-community pharmacies within medical centers. Residents focus on enhancing existing services and implementing new pharmacy-based medication therapy management programs. Patient care services include comprehensive medication reviews, immunizations, and solid organ transplant education. Residents also provide medication therapy management services in several clinic settings including family practice and anticoagulation. Coordination of patient care between the pharmacy and clinics is emphasized. Residents gain experience in practice management, professional/leadership development, student precepting, and present ACPE accredited programs. Each resident’s program is customized to their interests.
