DETAILED INFORMATION

The UAMS M.S. and Ph.D. program track in Pharmaceutical Evaluation and Policy (PEP) prepares students to generate and apply evidence to support the development and evaluation of policies regarding the coverage and use of pharmaceuticals. Our graduate program utilizes an applied approach where graduate trainees gain both didactic knowledge and strong analytic skills in Pharmacoeconomics, Comparative Effectiveness Research, Epidemiology, and Policy Analysis. Students are trained and mentored by PEP faculty, who work closely with state, national, and international leaders to help guide policy evaluation and development as well as to develop scientific guidance and to conduct rigorous original research.
