The USC College of Pharmacy in Columbia, SC offers a A 12-month Infectious Diseases Clinical Fellowship following completion of an ID PGY2. This unique program nationally, modeled after a research focused ID medical fellowship, provides fellows with 5 months of patient care and 7 months of research/academic intensive months. Clinical months will be in partnership with Palmetto Health Richland, a tertiary care academic medical center in central South Carolina. The trainee will work closely with the ID medical fellowship at Palmetto Health and faculty at the College of Pharmacy. Graduates of the program should feel confident to work in a variety of practice areas. Extension to a 24-month program can be discussed, especially for non-internal applicants.
