DETAILED INFORMATION

This informatics residency has been developed with a unique focus in medication use safety and drug information. The practice site rotations will be completed at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy.
Pharmacy Informatics residents will develop competencies and skills in the areas of pharmacy informatics, medication safety and academia, while applying pharmacy informatics principles and best practices. They will also gain experience in the areas such as drug information, pharmacy automation, leadership development, project life cycle, project management, CPOE and CDS.

We offer a teaching and learning certificate, a certificate of advanced study in Health Care Informatics and the Master of Science in Health Care Informatics.
