This PGY1 residency program with an emphasis in ambulatory care and academia offers opportunities in cardiology, primary care, diabetes management, and transitions of care in a variety of practice settings. Additional opportunities include participation in a residency project, medication use evaluation, staffing, teaching and precepting, and leadership and management. Electives include acute internal medicine, participation in a children’s asthma camp, and a free and charitable clinic. The resident will also achieve an academic teaching certificate.
